Leyland Methodist Church has been part of life in Leyland for over 200 years. We are a friendly, all-age community seeking to connect faith with everyday life, summed up in our mission statement, Linking Lives Through Jesus.
Sunday worship at 10:30am is at the heart of our week: a warm, unhurried service with music, prayer and teaching that speaks into real life. Through the week there are quieter moments too, including prayer meetings and Bible fellowship, with space to reflect, ask questions and grow.
We believe church is about people as much as worship. That means welcoming everyone, caring for our neighbours, supporting one another through life's ups and downs, and playing our full part in the life of Leyland. Our doors are open daily, and our building is used by community groups throughout the week.
The big moments of life matter, and it is a privilege to share them.
If you are thinking about any of these, please contact us for an informal conversation.
There are so many ways to be part of life at LMC: singing, welcoming, making coffee, helping with children's groups, supporting community projects or simply being there for people. Whatever your gifts and however much time you have, there is a place for you.
Through the year we mark the seasons of the Christian calendar together, from Advent and Christmas to Lent, Easter and Harvest, with special services and resources for all ages. Keep an eye on what's on for the latest.
Our Sunday service begins at 10:30am and includes worship, prayer, Bible teaching and a chance to enjoy fellowship over refreshments afterwards.
Whether you've been to church many times before or never at all, you'll be warmly welcomed.
A welcoming church family in the heart of Leyland.
