From quiet times of prayer to lively community groups, there are lots of ways to connect, learn, serve and grow together.
Faith & Worship
Opportunities to grow in faith, pray together and explore the Christian life.
- Celtic Prayer A quiet space to pause, pray and reflect together each week. Tuesdays, 1.15-1.45pm, Vestry.
- Family Bible Time A relaxed Bible study where adults can get stuck in and children are welcome to simply be themselves. 4th Sunday monthly, 12-1pm, Worship Centre.
Social & Community
Friendly groups where you can connect, chat and support one another.
- Come Together Drop in for games, jigsaws, snacks and plenty of good company. Tuesdays, 2.30-4.30pm, Coffee Bar.
- The Beacon A friendly social group for retired people, run jointly with Midge Hall Methodist Church. Games, jigsaws and lunch together, £3 per person. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 12-2pm, Midge Hall Methodist Church.
- Men@LMC A monthly get-together for men, with a guest speaker and time to socialise. Wednesdays monthly, 2-3pm, Coffee Bar.
- Women's Group A friendly monthly evening with guest speakers covering a variety of topics. Wednesdays monthly, 7-9pm, Coffee Bar.
- Together on Thursday A relaxed morning of games, seated exercise and conversation, followed by lunch and a short reflection, £5 per person. Thursdays, 10am-1pm, Coffee Bar.
Creative & Active
Groups that get you making, moving and having fun.
- Arts & Crafts Bring along your latest project and enjoy a relaxed morning of crafting and company, £2 per person. Wednesdays, 10am-12pm, Coffee Bar.
- Table Tennis Enjoy a friendly game of table tennis and good company, all abilities welcome. Wednesdays, 2-4pm, Wesley Hall.
Families & Young People
Groups for children, young people and families to belong and grow.
- MAD Mob A drama group for 8-18s, having fun together while working towards an annual production. Rehearsal times vary as the production progresses. Fridays, from 6.30pm, September to March, Wesley Hall.
- Messy Church Explore faith together through crafts, activities and celebration, with cake too! 2nd Saturday monthly, 10.30am, Community Centre.
- Youth Group Games, activities and snacks for young people aged 11-18, with space to explore faith if they choose. Sundays, 6-8pm, Coffee Bar.
Everyone is welcome
